| I am fortunate in being one of the seventy percent of arthritis sufferers who benefit from a glucosamine/chondritin mix. Make sure that you take a big enough dose-- the recommendation is for 1500mg glucosamine per day, and expect to wait for about a month before it kicks in. After that you can miss doses without any relapses, and in fact I stopped taking it for almost two years before the symptoms came back!!
