interstitial lung disease with fibrosis

My pulmonary medicine wants to pass me biopsy after 2 CT declared by him useless and a bronchoscopy useless too.Asked why he need this he told me that effective treatments are not available.On a few places on Google i found some proposals about enzymatic therapies
Are the worth to give them a tray?.
